:charte: Before anything, please read the Alphabounce help, which you can reach by clicking on the "Help" button underneath the game.

Why don't brown bricks :brick: break?

In order to destroy ferrous conglomerates :brick: (brown bricks), you must have the :pad: RCD-20 drilling ball.
You can obtain it by winning all 3 accreditations (electronic circuits) blinking on the map.

Once you have your :pad: drilling ball, you will have to hit those :brick: bricks more than once (depending on the thickness) to destroy them...

How to go further than the green zone?

The green zone around your :pad: envelope shows where you can go using a single :free:/:fuel:.
To go far away, you have to:
1- Go to the green square which is closest to your goal and win the level,
2- Repeat that until your goal is in the green zone...

By doing so, even the far away planets are close to you!

Note: generators (sold in many shops) make the green zone wider around your :pad: envelope...but they're expensive :mineral:!

When will I get my three :free: ?

Your :free: will be delivered to your :pad:'s acount when the server time reaches midnight, GMT +1 time (GMT +2 during daylight saving time). You can compare the forum's time to see when midnight will be.

What are capsules?

Shops can sell various capsules. To use a capsule, press the P or Escape key on your keyboard to pause the game, and select your capsule, it will be effective instantly!

Want to know what capsules do? Discover on your own! :)

What are :mineral: and how do we get them?

:mineral: Minerals are space money. You can obtain them by breaking colored :brick: bricks (green = 1:mineral:, blue = 5:mineral:, pink = 25:mineral: ).
You can use them in shops to buy upgrades (engines, ...), missile reloads, :fuel: SHCs and many more!
You can also get :mineral: by accomplishing Escorp, FURI and other missions.

How do missiles work?

Once the missile technology is included to your envelope, you will be able to fire missiles while playing by pressing the Space key.

You will start with 1 missile slot. You can add more to that by collecting other misisle debris in outer space or buying some from shops.

To fire a missile, you need to have some in stock (duh!). You can stock as many missiles as you have slots for them. You can buy reloads from shops, find them in the game (missile :brick: bricks),

etc. Of course, you can only use a missile once.

While playing, if you have at least one missile, the game will show you how many you have in the bottom-right corner: [missiles you have]/[total slots].

What is this ADM or "Gardien" next to someone's username?

Guardians are here to keep the channels (in other words, this forum) clean and ordered so that all prisoners can use them peacefully. They have many tools which can help them stop any revolt

coming from the prisoners...

Those guardians are also ADMs, which stands for ADMinistrators, the universe's creators, in charge of new material and everything that has to do with the site.
They are all members of the Motion Twin, which created Alphabounce and many other websites...

What about the MOD or "Caïd"?

They are some of the most experimented space miners. They have decided to help others and share their knowledge with them and showed themselves masters of the interprisoner communications

channels. By a simple thought they can make you mute as a black hole or even worse! 8O Feared by some, respected by all, they stay space miners just like any other. ;)

The MOD stands for MODerator, they work in darkness to make sure everything goes on well in the forum.

What are envelopes?

An :pad: envelope, also called pad, is the ship which you make the drilling ball bounce on. This :pad: envelope is the one you are in and lets you travel through space using :free:/:fuel:

You start the game with no emergency :pad: envelopes, and the ESCorp lends you 3 of them for your training. They will be taken back from you once you have enough experience.

You can get new emergency :pad: envelopes from shops, levels, etc.

What are drones?

A supporting drone is a machine included within your :pad: envelope and which activates automatically while mining. Its primary role is to disarm sentinels, but it can also accomplish

different tasks.
A supporting drone is independant and does not need you to work.

What is the mouse click when playing on keyboard?

The Control key replaces the left click.

The Ctrl key does not work on mac, what do I do? :noon:

If you use a Mac operating system, the Apple key will replace the Ctrl key's functions

Where can I get more help? :noon:

You can ask on the IRC channel!

Anyone who has an IRC client (mIRC XChat etc)

If using FireFox with chatzilla:

irc://irc.accessirc.net/

If you start Chatzilla and it doesnt work type:

/server irc.accessirc.net into the Chatzilla input box

Open up a new server connection and join the server of irc.accessirc.net

Join the channel #alphabounce
