You need to have Salmeen on board
And then explore 3 levels of planet Moltear, he will then show you where it is

What would happen if i did not explore those 3 sectors on Moltear and already delivered Salmeen to his planet? Ambro X would be lost indefinitely then?

I don't know about that, but if you picked him up, you still have him so that shouldn't be a problem.

To find him, please use the forum's search button, and to find the planet, use ABMAP ;)
