[Spoiler] Types of bricks (page 1/3)
Back to channel|
Hi all!
There are a lot of lists out there detailing what each of the 25 as-yet-discovered powerups do, but there doesn't seem to be a list of all the different brick types; according to the front page, there are over 50 different types. Here are the ones I've found so far: 1. Plain--1 hit 2. Copper--3 hits 3. Silver--indestructible 4. Purple--regenerates after a certain time 5. Yellow--regenerates once your ball goes above where the brick used to be 6. Volcanic--when hit, destroys surrounding bricks 7. Dragon--when hit, destroys all bricks to the left/right of it, depending on which way the dragon is facing 8. Green mineral--provides 1 9. Blue mineral--provides 5 10. Red mineral--provides 25 11. Item brick--marked with a ?, when it an item (usually for a mission) drops down 12. Missile brick--when hit, a missile drops down which will refill one of your missile slots 13. Extra life brick--marked with a red cross, gives you an extra life when hit 14. One-shot laser--marked with a orange-yellow circle, when hit it sends a laser toward your paddle; if the laser hits your envelope it explodes 15. Sentinel--looks like Reducine, but yellow instead of blue. Dunno what happens if you hit it yet, but I'm not sure I want to find out 16. Reducine--marked with a blue oval, when hit, it sends a laser toward your envelope which shrinks it 17. Plague--marked with a skull and crossbones, when hit, it destroys the ball that hit it. If you don't have multiball, this makes you lose a life 18. Molecule (accelerator)--red, white, blue. When your ball hits it, the ball gets faster 19. Molecule (destroyer)--orange, orange, blue. Molecule moves around the screen destroying bricks 20. Molecule (flash)--white, light blue, dark blue. When your ball hits it, the screen flashes and unless you have sunglasses your envelope shrinks. 21. Molecule (populator)--I forget the colors...moves around the screen adding new bricks 22. Molecule (repeller)--light blue*2, dark blue. Exerts a repelliing force on your ball 23. Jumping brick---Orange with three green pentagonal regions. Each time you hit it, it moves to a different location on the screen and one of the regions changes to red. When all are red, it can be destroyed with one hit. 24. Ball-in-brick--clear-looking brick with a white circle in the middle, when you hit it a new ball is released. 25. Factory brick--green brick with a silver X across it. When you hit it, a new brick is produced; e.g., if you hit it from below, a new brick will appear above it and push any other bricks up. I think it takes 8 hits to destroy it. Hope this is useful or at least interesting. Also hope it's not too long. [Edit money: title form to match other threads |

The yellow sentinel paralyzes your
Red ones fires 8 balls to your pad, if any of these balls touches it... Boom I never seen the orange ones, but i heard they slow down your pad, like Spignysos does There is also the parasites bricks, when you hit them, some parasites comes down to your pad, and if they fix on it, it start to vibrate, the more parasites is fixed, the more your pad vibrate Sorry for my (Maybe) bad english |

Also, don't forget the bricks that generate multiple molecules. I've also run across a brick that turns the screen upside-down when you hit it. Very confusing.

thanks for the info, it was very informative and will probably help me in many difficult situations!!!

Lol upside down?
that's interesting @_@ |

I have encountered the flash molecule before, but I do not have sunglasses and my envelope doesn't shrink when I hit it!
Not a glitch. Sorry to burst your bubble.
Meh. Even if it isn't a glitch, it's still cool!
Pretty sure flash molecules do not affect your envelope in any way.
Ya. I found a new molecule! It's red, white, and dark blue/black (not sure). If your ball is Halo/Volt/Flame/etc. and you hit it, it gets changed back to the regular ball!
