I'm kind of new at this, only having completed 3-4 missions and 20 victories (I have no irl $ for fuel).

How long does it take to get that extra free mission per day, and which corporation do I join to get it?

Where's the best way to get minerals, and how many missions is it to get the other 2 block destroyers (like the one I got after completing the 3 training areas)?

Are the missile power ups I buy per round or one shot use?

Thats all I can think of for the moment, but any help / hints / fuel would be greatly appreciated.

How long does it take to get that extra free mission per day, and which corporation do I join to get it?You have to join FURI for that, but it will take a very long time, and you shouldn't join before having done many ESCorp misisons :)

Where's the best way to get minerals, and how many missions is it to get the other 2 block destroyers (like the one I got after completing the 3 training areas)?Minerals :fleche: do rich levels :wink:
Didn't get the destroyer part :/

Are the missile power ups I buy per round or one shot use?Read the beginner's help for that ;)

Drilling ball, just found that out. Where are mineral rich planets, and is it worth buying the generators that allow you to hop farther as you can afford the least one, or should you skip them if possible?

Skipping is allowed and recommended where possible :)

The next drilling ball you can get will only have the power to destroy parasite molecules (which you'll discover later in the game) ;)

Buy the engine that covers your radar range well enough.
There is not much point in getting more, especially early in game when you do not have opened routes yet.

Aside from that it is very wise to plan your engine purchases to skip some.
Pay attention to the last one you will buy for a long time, and try to skip the one before:
v2=158
v3=788
v4=4 603
v5=12 868
v6=85 909

How far into the FURI missions is the extra play per day? It would really help me out seeing as I only get 3 plays per day. Where are the locations of some mineral rich planets, and when do the solid hydrogen capsules for 210 minerals each become worth it?

1) You need 20 "Free a prisoner" done.
But since it is a trip around Karbonis belt, do not try without Ambro-X, decent engine and a few safety envelopes.
Not to mention mandatory landing equipment... It is my priority target too, but it's a long way.

I advice you to plan all your missions ahead, especially with Salmeen.

2) Lycans somehow.
Douriv a lot, but that is too far away and needs better landing equipment.
For the time being you better use the path planner (search it) to spot rich levels along your way.

3) Best SHC price is 109 :mineral:, and it pretty much never is worth it because for a long time buying equipment brings more advantages.

I've been playing this game every single day
(without skipping using only 3 CHL per day) for the last 6 months
and I just recently got within the last few weeks:

- The AR-47 (1 month ago)
- The zonkerien medaillon
- The first anti-matter nuclei

Going FURI for me is still another 6 months from now I think.

Using path planner will help you, there are ways to optimize your "beginning" to make you growth faster.

Getting all the "beginning" minerals with your 3 lives,
then obtain the 1st and 2nd extra missile, genemill, extension,
then the extra enveloppe and V3.

Then get the AR-47 red part, soupaline, side reactors, liquid cooler,
1 drone, the other 9 extra missiles, sunglasses.

You want to have 9 missiles before getting AR-47,
missiles are so much useful with the AR-47,
they destroy 6 blocks on average.

You also want to have 1 drone (no more than that),
so that levels with 1-3 sentinels are easy.
Just avoid them and let your slow drone handle it,
before going AR-47.

Then, the AR-47 blue part, OX-soldier ball, Zonkerian medaillon,
first nuclei, 10th missile, and now you are like me. :D

It's a long journey, but maybe what matters is the journey not the actual destination -- Star Trek ;)

Sorry for the second post.

Just as a side note, since I forgot to look at your profile.
You currently have 3 lives. So for the sake of humanity,
DO NOT CROSS any cells with a number 5 or higher.

Restrict yourself to [-4,-4] to [4,4] inclusive,
go to each of the location in there that have some minerals in it and get it.

You will be tempted to finish the first cleaning mission, DO NOT!
Wait until you have harvested all the easy minerals with your 3 lives, else you are looking for a painful beginning.

On the Path Planner, there is an option just for you called:

"Escorp Only - +3 Initial lifes (4x4)"

that simply eliminates position with the number 5 or higher.

j2k.sf.net/svg/escorp.php?x=0& ...

As you can see, all the cells which are not 0$, take
them, doing a spiral or S like tight pattern,
then take the missile and do the first harvest last.

{Press ctrl-A to see the spoilers}

You will lose all your extra lives, but you will have 380$
in bank. Going for debris 1, you get 432$ and ~489$ by
the time you collected all debris.

Go to lycans, obtain all the parts.

Make sure you win every level, when the guy with the spare enveloppe "leaves you", this will ensure that the amount of game required to get it formally is shortened.

After you get the Extra Missile 4 ( 5, 8 ), you should be around 618$, knowing that the 3rd extra life cost 470$ at (-13, 8 ). If instead you go for genemill, you should be around ~856$.

For lycans, only DO the "SUPER EASY" one,
which means that you need only 1 life.

Second possible path is "Easy", which needs 1 or 2 lifes,
but you may be more talented. 8)

After that, you will get an extra life back
and you should be okay for a while... :o

If you go that way, don't do the cleanup missions.

They do pay, but not much and your ::free: are better spent progressing and fetching mineral-rich sectors.
