I have search the forums and can not find anyone that tells which merchant sells the extra envelope. I have explored quite a bit and guess by bad luck have always skipped over that merchant. Could someone tell me which merchant to go to.

So it will show up in future searches, the cheapest extra envelope (also known as a spare life) is at [-13][8] for 470 minerals.

where do i find the merchant? plz or do i have to go to soup a line?

You should get a mission that there is alien that does not speak your language and is selling envelope generators. THIS is the very first merchant. You will then get a merchant map for free, of course

but i still have to do my missions before that

When you take the new generator...you will move two sectors at time instead of a single sector.
Just finish the mission "A new generator" to unlock all galaxy merchants locations |

yeah i got the place on lock now but can you go to other planets after the two parts?

once you pass the entry test, which you did since you have all three licenses...then you are, technically, free to go. Wander where every you want etc... after you get the new generator...I recommend you do Distress Call mission...You will rewarded a free emergency
 because, like it or not, you will be ripped out of your three extra after a while...There are lots of things to do in AB, but doing missions, not just clean up missions, will be your guider through the galaxy.
